How does KiwiFin work?
KiwiFin is an AI-powered voice expense tracker. You speak or type an expense like “spent $4.50 on coffee,” and our AI instantly transcribes, categorizes, and logs it. No manual entry, no forms, no bank links required.
Is my financial data secure?
Yes. KiwiFin never connects to your bank accounts and never mines your data. Your expenses are stored securely using encryption at rest, and all data is transmitted over HTTPS. Privacy is built into the architecture, not added as an afterthought.
Do I need to link my bank account?
No. KiwiFin is designed as a manual-but-effortless tracker. You speak, we log. We never ask for bank credentials, never use Plaid or other data aggregators, and never have read access to your financial accounts.
How much does KiwiFin cost?
KiwiFin is free during beta. After public launch, a Premium tier will be available. Early access waitlist members lock in a 50% lifetime discount on Premium pricing.
What platforms does KiwiFin support?
KiwiFin launches on iOS and Android with a companion web app. Beta builds will be available for both mobile platforms during the early access phase.
How accurate is the voice recognition?
KiwiFin uses state-of-the-art speech recognition that handles natural language variations, background noise, and multiple expense inputs in a single sentence. Accuracy improves with each use as the AI adapts to your speech patterns.
Can I use KiwiFin without voice?
Yes. KiwiFin supports both voice and text input. You can type your expenses using natural language (“paid $45 for gas”) and the AI will parse it the same way as voice input.
What categories does KiwiFin support?
KiwiFin comes with 8 default categories: Dining, Transport, Shopping, Bills & Utilities, Entertainment, Health, Groceries, and Other. The AI automatically routes expenses to the right category based on context.
Can I export my data?
Yes. KiwiFin supports CSV export of all your expense data. Premium users will get additional export options including PDF reports.
Is there a web version?
Yes. KiwiFin has a companion web app that mirrors your mobile data. You can log expenses from any device and view your reports on the web dashboard.
How does the AI categorization work?
KiwiFin's AI uses natural language understanding to analyze the context of each expense. “Uber to airport” is categorized as Transport, while “Uber Eats” is categorized as Dining. The system learns from corrections you make over time.
Can I track expenses for my business?
KiwiFin is designed for personal expense tracking. However, many freelancers and small business owners use it to track business expenses. Premium will include receipt scanning and tax category support.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You keep access to your data and can export it at any time. Cancelling simply prevents future Premium feature access. Your data is yours, always.
When will KiwiFin launch?
KiwiFin is currently in private beta. Early access will roll out to waitlist members in phases. Join the waitlist to be notified as soon as your spot opens.
